Pros: Elegant in its simplicity, calming music, interesting stages, running and jumping is easy to control.

Cons: Controlling the boxes sometimes gets frustrating because of the way they bounce and are affected by gravity, the character occasionally clips through walls which usually results in death.

Final Thoughts: Mind Bender is a game with a simple concept which is nicely executed. The atmosphere created by Mind Bender is calming and makes for an enjoyable experience.

TBA - Flash Game Review

Description: Time your clicks to get your ball home as fast as possible.

Pros: TBA is colorful, music is decent.

Cons: There is little thought involved in this game. You simply have to click at the right time. Controlling the ball gets frustrating and there is a constant swirl of stars floating around the ball which are very distracting.

Final Thoughts: Maybe TBA stands for "The Ball is Annoying." If you like games which revolve around your ability to click at exactly the right time then this is your game.

Warp Forest - Flash Game Review

Description: Collect keys, find items, kill monsters, and make your way through the forest in this flash game.

Pros: I like the different items you find along the way. The monsters are interesting and there are a lot of clever levels. Video walkthroughs are nice when you get stuck.

Cons: I was disappointed in how Warp Forest is controlled. I would have preferred either mouse control or direct control of up, down, left, right. When you can see how to solve a level but can't do it because of imprecise controls, it gets very frustrating.

Final Thoughts: I liked Warp Forest, don't get me wrong. I played for about 30 minutes before I became too frustrated to continue. Maybe other people will have better luck with the controls than I did.

Description: Connect similar colors across a 3D cube.

Pros: Simple concept, great presentation, relaxing music, easy controls.

Cons: Can get repetitive pretty quickly.

Final Thoughts: I really appreciate simple puzzle games like 3D Logic. I played for about 20 minutes before I got bored.

Description: Create weights to evenly balance the scale. Hold down the mouse button to create a bigger weight.

Pros: Mass Attack is a simple concept which proves to be quite challenging. The design is clean and the graphics are appropriate.

Cons: Mouse control can be frustrating. I was hoping for different game modes.

Final Thoughts: I wish there was more to this game but I still liked it a lot. Maybe if they added different kinds of materials or pulley systems which didn't balance in the same way? Overall, I like the concept enough to recommend this game. I spent about half an hour playing it.

Armor Picross - Flash Game Review

Description: Remember the old Picross game? It's back in flash! Create pictures from numerical clues. Think Sudoku but with pixels.

Pros: Clean interface, true to the original, you get to make pretty pictures.

Cons: The easy levels are too predictable and you can't skip ahead to more advanced ones without completing them.

Final Thoughts: If you like Picross, then play this game. To me, it's not all that interesting and I'd rather play Minesweeper. I wish it added more to the original.
